II 2: Spirituality

What is spirituality?

Spirituality is a study of spirit. As simple as that.

There is a Hindi word called as Aadhyatma, that is translated as transcendental. This word is a misnomer to spirituality.

If someone needs to work on spirituality the first thing which is mandatory is to admit there exists something called spirit.

Spirit has nothing to do with heaven or transcendence. Spirit have nothing to do with God or devil, spirit is something that could be identified as singular entity. We will be exploring the elements of the singular entity in the coming articles but right now we can just say that an spirit is something that exists.

Why is spirituality?

Simple, because some people like me discovered something which was for beyond the experience that our existence was capable of handling or understanding at that moment or break through.

What is the need of Spirituality?

So, for you as an individual what is the need of spirituality. If you are a dedicated atheist there is no need of spirituality for you.

But if you are tiny bit of curious then you are welcome.

Secondly, the true scientific approach involves the discovery of elements which could impact the your existence in any manner.

I do not wish you to jump on the conclusion that a spirit exists or not, the God exists or not, or something else.

The primary goal remains that I can share necessary tools which could help you to make informed decisions.

I make no claims about delivery something substantial, I will try my best.

I am neither salesman or a worshiper.

How spirituality differs from Religion?

On a public commercial vehicle it was written that “Jesus saved me.”

And that’s religion for you. Jesus and more importantly the church came for a poor man’s help. A poor man is spiritually fragile man whose is spirit is a for sale. The first person who is willing to buy his soul using money. He will make his limited understanding serve the master like a dog.

On the other hand spirituality is a place of exploration. It is about making tangible decisions about the existence of the things which can impact your existence.

Religion provides relief and belonging where others do not want to provide you the basic comforts of life. Religion is an overhyped sense of belonging and expression of pseudo morality.

Meanwhile, religion can also do good but in the long run belief will always turn into something very mutated and exploited.

Where religion comes in handy?

Religion is the only one which has preserved the traces of spirituality and its womb.

See, the people do not wish to associated with religion because the modern person aligns the religion with poverty and stupid statements. But a truly curious person can derive the golden nuggets from the pile of this manure.

And most importantly sometimes religion puts food on the plate.

Religion is a culmination of people’s believe over the course of times unknown. There are facts and fiction and only a curious mind can distinguish between the two.

Spirituality as a tool of classification

Once you have identified something as a singular existence, you can study it’s properties and then apply the wisdom gained from this experience to better explore and exploit that singular entity.

The first and the most important law is that if there is a spirit there is interaction and then there is all the explorable possibilities.

You as an individual are a spirit.

Sprituality truly is the joy of exploration.
